What is the date of the cb5k run/walk?
The Crystal Beach 5K is held on the second Saturday of October each year. This year’s date is October 11th, 2025!
Who can register?
Anyone! The Crystal Beach 5K also has a 1K Kids Run that begins at 10:15am.
How can I pay?
The Crystal Beach 5K is proud to offer online registration through Race Roster.
Do I need a medical certificate?
A medical certificate is not needed to participate in the Crystal Beach 5k run/walk
What time does the race start?
The Kids Fun Run starts at 10:15am in front of Legacy on Erie Rd.
The Crystal Beach 5K starter pistol goes off at 11:00am in front of Legacy on Erie. Rd.
Where does the race start?
We will start and finish in front of Legacy and Crystal Ball Cafe, 4020 Erie Rd.
What is the timing system?
The Crystal Beach 5K is proud to be a “bib-chip” event.
Where should I park?
The best place to park is on Erie Rd. in the parking lot across from Legacy and Crystal Ball Cafe before the road closures or on the side streets.
Where can I see pictures of the race?
The pictures and link to results will be posted on our Facebook page after the event.
Where are the washrooms?
There will be indoor washrooms and port-o-potties set-up at Legacy and Crystal Ball Cafe.
Where is the post race party?
The post-race party with live music, results, and a cash BBQ will be outside at Legacy and Crystal Ball Cafe on Erie Rd.
What is an “out-and-back course“?
It means that the race starts and finishes at the same place.
If I signed up as a walker, can I run?
NO!! If you have signed up as a walker you must only walk. If you signed up as a runner, you can run or walk.
Where do I pick-up my race package?
There will be a table set-up inside Legacy for package pick-up the day before on October 10th 4-7pm and in the morning on the day of the race until 10:30 am.
